I - Acquisition of the Software License Agreement with the source code

Ampsoft, as the legitimate owner of SIES - Specialist Insurance System, duly registered at INPI - National Institute of Industrial Property, under the number 94007756, provides the SIES in the form of Use License with the source code.

In this mode, the Insurer can use the SIES as it meets its needs, for example, in related companies and in the portfolios that it operates in the market.

From a financial perspective, it is the same than transform SIES into CAPEX (Capital Expenditure).

The license to use SIES includes the following features: 

• Use License (unrestricted term, users or processors) for the subsystems acquired by the insurance company;   
• Copy of the system’s code sources in its latest version available on the date of contraction, so the system’s evolution can happening with or without human resources of Ampsoft;  
• All technology upgrades that Ampsoft will make for the subsystems acquired by the Insurance Company during the period in which there is a contract for support and development of SIES between Ampsoft and the Insurance Company;  
• Contract for support and evolution of SIES with annual terms, within the service level agreement (SLA) negotiated with the Insurance Company.

II - Monthly Rent or Software as a Service

Ampsoft, as the legitimate owner of SIES - Specialist Insurance System, duly registered at INPI - National Institute of Industrial Property, under the number 94007756, provides the SIES in the form of monthly rent without the source code.

The Insurance Company may use the computing infrastructure of Microsoft Cloud Computing or its own infrastructure, with the following features of contracting: 

• Use License (unrestricted of users or processors) for the software during the term of the rental;
• All technology upgrades that Ampsoft will make for the software acquired during the term of the rental;
• Not-presential support (telephone, electronic mail or other modality) during business hours during the term of the rental;
• Support on the deployment of the software in the Microsoft Cloud Computing infrastructure through our partnership and
• Contract with initial duration of 03 (three) years with values adjusted annually.

For book of business that use the software. In the case of rental, the insurance company pays monthly to Ampsoft depending on the function current used in the book of business.

It is the modality most suitable when the client wants to minimize investments or when it wishes to use the product for a limited time. From a financial point of view, it is equal to transform systems in 100% OPEX (Operational Expenditure).
